Transfer from ORT International Airport to Sabi Sabi Private Airstrip
Depart Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport on a scheduled Federal Air flight to Sabi Sabi Private Airstrip. Here the lodge rangers will meet you and whisk you to your lodge in Sabi Sabi Game Reserve.
Lunch is served before some leisure time in the comfort of your suite. Relax at your private pool or sala before late afternoon call for high tea. Departing on a late afternoon game drive into the African bush; as the sun sets your ranger will find a clearing where you can enjoy sundowner drinks, surrounded by the sounds of Africa. After sunset, your drive will continue - the game drive changes into a night drive as the tracker spots nocturnal game with a spotlight.
Return for dinner in the lounge or at the outdoor boma – this is an interactive affair with your ranger and fellow safari enthusiasts. This is the first night of sharing your experience with your fellow travellers and new-found friendships.
- Day 2
Safari at Sabi Sabi
An early morning wake up call with tea and coffee will be followed by the morning game drive. Your experienced ranger and tracker who will share their extensive knowledge of the bush with you. They know the area intimately and have studied the behaviour of the animals of the area, allowing for an unforgettable African safari.
After breakfast, there will be the opportunity for a guided bush walk for a different perspective of the wilderness or you may simply want to relax at the lodge and even spoil yourself with a treatment at the fabulous wellness spa. Afternoon tea will be followed by the evening game drive where more wild adventure awaits.
- Day 3
Safari at Sabi Sabi
Day 3 is typically a carbon copy of Day 2, you will just have ticked off some more species on your quest to spot the Big Five and more.
- Day 4
Transfer from Sabi Sabi Private Airstrip to ORT International Airport
After an early game drive and breakfast (subject to your flight departure time), your ranger will transfer you to Sabi Sabi Private Airstrip to connect to your scheduled Federal Air flight back to OR Tambo International Airport.
Please make sure your international flight is booked at least 4 hours after arrival at OR Tambo Airport - to leave enough time in case of flight delays.
