Sabi Sands Game Reserve

“Excelent!”

Great service, starting from the reception! Very friendly staff, excellent and spacious room, very clean. Great game drives, was able to see lots of animals, including the wild dogs (unfortunately didn’t get to see lions and buffalos, but the other Big 5 were seen). The only complaint I would have is that I was charged for the water I had at dinner, that I thought was included (the water bottles in the room are free) and only other beverages were charged.

“Great, luxury safari lodge”

This was our first stop in the Kruger safari vacation. Lodge has a great location, in front of a waterhole where we saw elephants and zebras come to drink. Small intimate place with amazing service and a good personal touch. Most of all, the game drives were excellent, our ranger and tracker (Chelene and Chris) were fantastic at tracking lions and leopards. Sabi Sands is a great safari park as the Rangers can drive off-road, but there are private parts of the park which we couldn’t drive into following some tracks.

“Outstanding lodge in Sabi Sand!”

This lodge was just perfect and I am so glad we chose to stay there. The game drives were incredible, the food was excellent, and the staff was lovely. Nkorho was the highlight of our trip, and we are missing it so much already. We really enjoyed the beautiful location, and just watching and hearing wildlife from the comfort of our chalet was magical. We only stayed for two nights on this trip, but will definitely stay longer next time!

“The Perfect Way to Experience a Safari”

I don’t consider myself one of the most outdoorsy people in the world, but this safari experience was the closest thing to perfection – and the gang at the Nkorho Bush Lodge are to thank.

The facility itself has all you need to be comfortable without going over the top. Some of the other, more expensive, lodges in the area offer amenities like private butlers and other, frankly, crazy stuff – but what’s the point of going a safari if you don’t at least connect with nature.

The staff is knowledgeable and approachable. They provide you with the right level of attention and information.

But the safaris are the main attractions. You go out 2x a day – at dawn and dusk and the off-road vehicle led by expert guides take you an unforgettable trek looking for animals in the region. We were lucky to have seen 6 of the big 7 (exception: buffalos) and we saw them quite close up.
