Arrive at Idube
Arrive at Idube in time for afternoon tea and a sunset game drive in open Land Rovers, accompanied by skilled rangers and trackers.
At night, guests might see hippos feeding out of the water, white-tailed mongooses, bushbabies, civets or the fleet-footed jackals, not to mention lions on the hunt. These are just some of the fabulous wildlife Idube has to offer.
Return to the lodge for dinner – usually hosted around a roaring fire at the Boma.
The rest of the evening you can enjoy with other guests, eagerly sharing your first day’s experience in the bush.
- Day 2
Game Viewing at Idube
Early morning tea/coffee and rusks before setting off into the bush for an exhilarating game drive. Breakfast is served upon your return, after which, you can choose to participate in a safari walk with an armed tracker, getting closer to ground and learning about the “Little Five” and other insects.
Enjoy lunch and some leisure time before departing on yet another exciting game drive in pursuit of the Big 5.
On returning to the lodge this evening, enjoy a hearty African bush dinner before a well deserved rest for the night.

Travel from Idube for Lukimbi
Another early morning game drive to tick off the last of your “must see” list of animals before returning to the lodge for breakfast.
Check out and either transfer by private vehicle or self-drive to Lukimbi Safari Lodge
PLEASE NOTE: Transfers and/or transport between camps is not included in the package.
On arrival at Lukimbi, you will be welcomed by your ranger and orientated to your surroundings. Lunch will follow and then a new game viewing experience starts inside the Kruger National Park.
At Lukimbi, you feel part of nature from the moment you arrive. There is something for everybody: the impressive Big Five of leopard, lion, rhino, elephant and buffalo; smaller creatures and antelope and what are often termed ‘general game’. For bird watchers, the area also has a rich diversity of species.
Return to the lodge for dinner in the Boma before retiring for the evening.

Enjoy two game drives today – and if you’re up to it, you can also choose a safari walk with armed rangers – getting up close and personal with the wildlife.
Dinner will be your last chance to share your memories and pictures with new-found friends.
