Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp
Nestled along the banks of the Msuthu River, Sabi Sands Little Bush Camp prides itself on offering the perfect combination of privacy and luxury. As the newest addition to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve’s family of 5-star lodges, Little Bush emanates a warmth and vibrancy that is utterly unique.
Located in South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province, Sabi Sand Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the world-renowned Kruger National Park. This region is known for its incredible game viewing and opportunities to view Africa’s Big Five, as well as other species like the rare and illusive cheetah and wild dog. Considered an ideal game lodge for family, friends or small groups, Little Bush Lodge is made up of six luxurious suites, all of which look out over the riverbed. Fine dining and attentive service are a part of the deal here and the luxurious interiors combine to guarantee a wonderful safari retreat.
The thatched suites are all fully equipped and furnished in a contemporary African design style. Each comes with air-conditioning, double beds and luxe en-suites that boast both indoor and outdoor showers, spa bath and a private viewing deck. Delicious meals are eaten outside under gently lit trees and the vast African sky.
During the day guests are invited to embark on a host of adventures. Wildlife safaris in the early morning and evening will take you off-road, as you track the famed Big Five in the company of a qualified game ranger and tracker. There are over 200 animal species and 350 bird species in the area so guests are guaranteed some incredible photographic opportunities. Night drives are a highlight at Sabi Sabi and have guest searching for the lesser-seen nocturnal wildlife that migrates through the area from the Kruger National Park.
After breakfast you can set out on foot with an armed tracker. These bush walks present the opportunity to experience wildlife at close quarters. Learning about the nests and calls of the huge variety of bird life, as well as the endless flora and fauna that blossoms year round, no two walks are ever the same.
