Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge | Safari

“The lodge, the service and the food are excellent.I would recommend a three to four days stay in order to relax, enjoy the quality of the facilities and the spa and to have enough time for the game drives and to succeed in finding the big five, specially leopard and lion. We were very lucky and had very close encounters with leopards every day (3 different ones)and the lions on the last morning. The dedication and expertise of the guides are outstanding and they will do everything to reach your expectations.”

“My husband and I took a four day break from our kids and decided to spoil ourselves by selecting one of the best game lodges money can buy. I can honestly not fault Sabi Sabi on a single thing. We spent the first two days at Earth lodge. From the moment we arrived we were waited on hand and foot and all the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and catered to our every whim. The suites are very spacious and modern and each has it’s own plunge pool. We also sampled the award-winning Amani spa. The facilities and staff in the spa are world-class and prices are very reasonable. The most mind-blowing element of our stay at Earth lodge was the unbelievable standard of food. Every meal was sensational and could rival any five-star restaurant in the big cities. The game viewing was amazing and we saw all Big Five as well as a female cheetah. Our ranger was very entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable. This was an unforgettable experience. Just wish we had booked a longer stay.”

“From the moment you arrive staff here are like your family, you can tell they love to be there. The lodge is stunning in every way, all the materials are natural and 5 star. All the suites have their own pools, the public areas are spacious, cool and well though out. The food is incredible, the menus are well thought out and Michelin starred. You will do 2 game drives per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon). We saw absolutely everything, even a black rhino with her baby. They have their own airstrip so no need for long transfers. You won’t be disappointed. They have a few different lodges where some people stay 2 nights at each if you like a change. We stayed for 4 nights and we absolutely loved it. Looking forward to going back.”

“Luxury safari lodges in South Africa are famous for providing first class accommodation with the incomparable experience of getting up close to iconic African game in their natural environment. Sabie Sabie Earth Lodge however takes first class to a whole new level. The rooms are simply magnificent, spacious and luxurious, each one completely private with a plunge pool for those hot days and overlooking a nearby water hole. It’s hard to imagine how anything could be better. The main lodge is a masterpiece of design and elegance and as one would expect the food and service are outstanding. The actual game viewing was excellent (Big 5, wild dog, general game) and every drive brought something new and interesting under the expert guidance of our ranger and tracker. This was truly an unforgettable experience. You definitely need a minimum of three full days in this lodge otherwise you simply don’t get enough time to enjoy all the amenities.”

“An experience that is difficult to put into words as even ‘absolutely amazing’, ‘out of this world!’, ‘woah!’ fall completely short of describing just how incredible Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge is. From the most spectacular setting and design, to all the beautiful little touches, to excellent service and friendly staff, to the most jaw dropping safari experience…everything is…well, just perfect.”

“If you get to the Sabi Sands Reserve, try to spend a few nights at this amazing lodge. It pleases in every aspect from the Eco architecture of wood, earth and grass to the food, staff and game experience. Each large and luxurious suite faces the bushveld and because there are no fences, visitors of kudu, waterbuck and others may arrive in front of your windows. There was even a lion presence on one afternoon! Each suite has its own private plunge pool which is welcome in the afternoon heat. A few days here is food for the soul and you leave with reluctance but feeling very refreshed. It does not come cheap but you only live once.”

“I had a great time on my recent Safari with Sabi Sabi Earth. The Lodge and lodgings were beyond my expectations in comfort and beauty. And all of the staff from the top to the bottom couldn’t have done anything more to make the experience a a more memorable one. I highly recommend a visit if you’re looking for a low-key, high value experience in beautiful surroundings.”

“I have stayed at most of the lodges in the Sabi Sand reserve and can state that without a doubt, nothing comes close to Sabi Sabi. Sabi Sabi, and in particular Earth Lodge, is without question the flagship lodge in the whole of the Sabi Sand. There is nothing to fault from the accommodation, food, wildlife, and to the whole safari experience. It is the perfect safari experience in that it encapsulates everything a safari should be. The staff are incredible and make the stay even more enjoyable. The only sad thing is when your stay comes to an end as you do not want to leave this heavenly place. The other problem is that once you have stayed at Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, you shall stay nowhere else as nothing can compare in terms of the ultimate game lodge and safari excellence.”
