The main lodge area at Londolozi Pioneer Camp consists of a large thatched building overlooking the thick forest canopy. There is an indoor dining area, lounge and small wine cellar. The open-plan lounge area is filled with comfortable sofas and chairs – a great place to relax during the day. The lounge area opens out onto a large wooden viewing deck with a small fireplace and comfortable chairs looking out over the Kruger bush. There is also a small plunge-pool for cooling off during the midday heat.
The lodge also has its own zen-style lap pool with magnificent views across the bush. The outdoor boma area is perfect for outdoor dining or as a place to relax with a drink around the fire. Guests at Londolozi Pioneer Camp are able to use all the facilities at any of the Londolozi camps which are all located within a few minutes’ walk from each other.
The lodge has a total of three luxury suites, each with their own private viewing deck and plunge pool. Each suite is tastefully decorated in a contemporary African style with sweeping views over the Kruger bushveld. The open plan lounge area leads into the main bedroom that houses king or twin beds with a walk-in mosquito net, bedside lighting, mini-bar, overhead fans and air-conditioning. The en-suite bathroom houses a large open bathtub, twin basins, indoor shower and alfresco shower with a view.
