Dulini River Lodge | Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve
Rebuilt in July 2018, all six private and luxurious suites are elevated and overlook the Sand River where you can watch wildlife visitors come to drink.
The decor in the main lodge gives a classic nod to the safari of bygone days with its bar and comfortable seating, but the manner in which the lounge opens onto the river-facing viewing deck is very fresh and contemporary. From here, guests have unobscured views of the Sand River and the elephant, hippo and other wildlife that are drawn to the river banks in search of water. In addition to a wellness centre, there is a boma, swimming pool and curio shop.
Spacious and designed for your every comfort, all six river-facing, luxury suites have a lounge area, private deck and heated plunge pool, outdoor and indoor showers, a large bathtub and separate en-suite toilet. Air-conditioning, ceiling fans, tea- and coffee-making facilities and minibars are also available in each suite.
Game viewing par excellence in open vehicles
Sabi Sand Game Reserve is famous for its wildlife sightings, especially the elusive leopard, and with only 6 guests per vehicle, Dulini River Lodge’s open-vehicle game drives ensure all guests have a “window seat”. This intimate safari experience allows the highly-trained safari guide and tracker to focus on the wildlife you are most keen to see.
By road – It takes about five hours by road from Johannesburg to reach Dulini River Lodge. Road transfers can happily be arranged for you.
